The second and fourth Tuesday of each month, there’s a tempo run that starts at 6:00 am from the front of the JCC on Elmgrove Avenue. The goal of the tempo is to run an even pace for 4 to 12 miles in preparation for a 5k through a marathon. The RMHP coaches will time a 6-minute, 7-minute, 8-minute, and 9-minute paced group. Please let Bob Rothenberg know if you plan to attend and which pace works best for you. Be warmed up and ready to go at 6am.

Distance: A 2.5-mile loop; members can run as many as three loops

Evenings (easy one hour run instead of tempo)
6 pm every Tuesday evening join our club members for an easy one hour run, out and back on the East Bay Bike Path, starting and finishing at India Point Park in Providence. These are designed as comfortable runs at approximately one minute per mile slower than your present 5k racing pace and should not interfere with our track sessions on Monday and Wednesday.
