Our friends at New England Distance are presenting the opportunity to test yourself against the mats in The Boulevard Mile. No, not WWE (though that might be interesting), but the timing mats will be at the beginning and the end of a one-mile course up Blackstone Blvd to give participants a chance to see just how fast they are for an accurately timed mile. This will be fun.
The Boulevard Mile allows all runners, regardless of experience, age or level of fitness, to test himself/herself over the classic one-mile distance. Spitler Race Systems will provide electronic timing for all participants on the scenic East Side measured and sanctioned mile course.
100% of the proceeds will be donated to support running programs in Providence and Woonsocket middle schools directed by New England Distance.
The Boulevard Mile is also the first of RMHP Running Club Grand Slam; check out the others.
