Tempo Tuesdays

Tempo Tuesdays are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, starting at 6:00 am. We meet in front of the field adjacent to the JCC on Elmgrove. There is no need to sign up in advance. Please be warmed up and ready to start on time.

Dates: 2nd and fourth Tuesdays of each month.

Starting place: In front of the field adjacent to the JCC on Elmgrove

Time: 6:00 am

Join us for trail runs!

When: First and third Sundays

Time: Meet 9:00 am in the respective parking lots

First Sunday: Lincoln Woods State Park. Meet at the parking lot right before the tiny covered bridge. Runs from Lincoln Woods can go up to trails around Olney Pond or into the hills with a large network of trails, and/or even explore around Chase Farm. These trails can range from easy to quite technical so it’s a great place to learn how to run on all sorts of different terrain, and we can decide where to run each week depending on who turns up. AND great coffee place down the street, owned and operated by a club member.

Third Sunday: Roger Williams Park. Meet at the Temple to Music at 9am and run the loop around the lakes (approx 3 miles) and those who want to run more can run another loop or explore other parts of the park. This is a nice flat easy trail run that is not technical and great way to get started with off-road running. It’s also beautiful this time of year.
